The accounts\\r\\ncan be used as a strategic tool to set municipal climate targets, as a planning and prioritization\\r\\ntool to reduce emissions from the most climate-damaging activities first, and as a tool\\r\\nto monitor the effect of reduction measures. The accounts are a tool for assessing the municipal\\r\\ncontribution to achieving the EU's climate goals and the Danish government's climate goals.\\r\\n\\nThe climate account can also be used as a basis for reporting greenhouse gas emissions and\\r\\ncarbon stocks in the Baseline Emissions Inventory (BEI), which is used by the Covenant of\\r\\nMayors network, and in the Global Protocol for Community-scale Greenhouse Gas Emission\\r\\nInventories (GPC), the CIRIS format, which used by the network C40.\"}\" data-sheets-userformat=\"{\"2\":897,\"3\":{\"1\":0},\"10\":0,\"11\":4,\"12\":0}\">Form\u00e5let med regnskabet er, at give kommunerne et overblik over den drivhusgasbelastning, som er forbundet med en r\u00e6kke forskellige aktiviteter inden for kommunegr\u00e6nsen.
