The purpose of the project is to reduce costs for and the climate impact from the production of bio-natural gas, i.a. with a focus on reducing energy consumption, increased biomass yield during pretreatment, reduction of methane loss during slurry handling and at the plant, etc.
The project is prepared in collaboration between Dansk Gastekniks Center a/s, Aarhus University and PlanEnergi. In addition, Biogas Danmark, Evida and the Danish Professional Center for Biogas contribute with knowledge and advice on the biogas plants, connection to the natural gas grid, etc. The project is prepared with support from the Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program (EUDP)
